Within the scope of her journeyman's examination it has been Anne Siepelmeyer's main concern to design an individual piece of bar furniture which besides functionality offers the fun of playing.

She opted for products from the JORDAN Lacke Company for the manufacture of her piece of the journeyman’s examination. It was her objective to optimally emphasise the different surfaces from maple and walnut with the used paints and to simultaneously achieve an extreme high resistance. The “invincible bar” combines the practical function of a classic piece of bar furniture with a cunningly integrated Tic-Tac-Toe Game on the upper side. This filigree inlay work has been manufactured from maple and offers from the optical point of view a beautiful contrast to the dominating walnut surface.

GIESS-COLORLUX H 376 was used as priming. This clear varnish captivates by an excellent transparancy and high fastness to light.

As just the playing surface had to be very robust she opted for CLASSIC-EXTREME- RESIST 894 as topcoat, as it ensures very high scratch resistance and high resistance to mechanical stress.

Regarding the award “Die Gute Form 2017” (The Good Form 2017) this journeyman’s project earned the second place according to the KHS’ decision of the District Lippe.
